We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in bookkeeping and financial management, ensuring our construction projects remain financially organized and compliant.

• Manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping records for all financial transactions.
• Utilize QuickBooks to oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Perform timely bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements.
• Track and report financial data related to construction projects, providing insights to management.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in financial processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and project costs.
• Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve issues promptly.
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or financial management within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with construction project budgeting and financial tracking.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
