Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced MEP Engineer – Electrical for one of our clients based in UAE. This position will supervise and coordinate electrical works on site, particularly within DEWA Substations. The ideal candidate must be familiar with UAE regulations (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, ADEWA), and have a solid background in LSP, FPS, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise MEP installation, testing, and commissioning works on DEWA substations.
  • Coordinate with HVAC and Fire Protection System (FPS) contractors to ensure work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Oversee Low Side Power (LSP) installations and ensure proper integration with other systems.
  • Monitor subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution of work.
  • Maintain inventory records and prepare for inspections and clearances with the client and authorities.
  • Address technical challenges, scope changes, and report progress or issues to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure all work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Manage and close site notes and snags with proper coordination.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the UAE or other Gulf countries.
  • Experience working with local authorities such as DEWA, SEWA, ADEWA, AADC.
  • Preferred: Experience with FPS (Fire Protection Systems) and HVAC.
  • Strong understanding of project documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Good communication and site coordination skills.
