Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed BOQs & cost estimates for MEP (HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting )systems, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Tender Preparation: Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work and prepare accurate bids.
• Quantity Take-Off: Accurately measure and prepare a detailed material quantity take-off from drawings and specifications, and consider appropriate labour.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis, including direct and indirect costs, to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure competitive pricing.
• Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of cost estimates, bid submissions, project progress, tender submissions and value engineering, and cost breakdowns.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in estimation for MEP projects in the UAE
• Proficiency in estimation software such as CCS Candy, MS Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Sound knowledge of market rates, material specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Deep understanding of mechanical codes and site execution.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Driving License
