Job Purpose We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our MEP team. This internship provides hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, offering an opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain valuable industry insights. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong interest in MEP systems, and is ready to contribute to our projects. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the design and drafting of MEP systems using CAD and BIM software Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop technical documentation Support the review and analysis of project specifications, drawings, and codes Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical experience in fieldwork Conduct research and provide recommendations for improving MEP systems and processes Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation Perform other duties as assigned by the MEP team What We Offer: Hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative work environment Mentorship from experienced professionals in the MEP field Exposure to real-world projects and challenges Opportunities for professional growth and development through our Cleary Zimmermann University (CZU) classes Competitive hourly wages Unbeatable BBQ Requirements Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or a related field Basic understanding of MEP systems and principles Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements The ability to carry up to 50 lbs. of drawings and carry and/or climb ladders is a requirement of the position.
