Rogers-O'Brien Construction is seeking an MEP Manager to provide direction for all aspects of MEP planning, coordination and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a construction project. Responsible for providing construction support for MEP systems and will oversee the balancing, commissioning ,and validation certification of these system. Position Purpose At Rogers-O'Brien our MEP Managers ensure the seamless integration and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. They play a crucial role in managing all MEP-related aspects of a project to ensure these systems are installed on time, within budget, and meet quality and regulatory standards. This role requires travel frequently within Texas. Key Responsibilities * Design Assistance, planning and quality control * Commissioning Management * Reviewing and expediting submittals/approvals to ensure timely project completion * Supports PM and Superintendent to plan, organize and supervise the work of the MEP trades   Skills & Qualifications * Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, technology education or building construction/MEP, or equivalent experience * 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction/MEP coordination * General understanding on building codes, mechanical codes, electrical codes and plumbing codes as it relates to construction related projects * Experience in mechanical and electrical construction/MEP areas * Must have experience in leading project coordination, design assistance and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems in following markets: healthcare, telecommunications, data centers or other mission critical projects * Strong leadership and relationship skills required * Have proven track record as a MEP Manager for related projects with MEP scopes * This role requires the ability and willingness to travel to project sites across Texas, including extended assignments that may last several weeks or months depending on project needs.
