Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) & Power Senior Manager to join our City Transport team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading design initiatives within the Qiddiya project, which aims to create the world’s premier entertainment and cultural destination in Saudi Arabia. Your expertise in the design of MEP & Power for Rail projects and project management will be crucial in driving sustainable and effective transportation solutions.
As the MEP & Power Senior Manager, you will oversee the design development of the Primary Urban Axis Project, Qiddiya’s fully autonomous rail system providing connectivity across Qiddiya. Your work will involve collaborating with various consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams, to drive forward a successful solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of MEP and power systems for the Primary Urban Axis project.
  • Ensure designs align with project objectives, safety standards, sustainability and customer experience requirements.
  • Ensure integration across various project areas (civils, MEP, depots, stations, and facilities).
  • Manage design timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Foster collaboration among internal teams to maintain design quality and consistency.
  • Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
  • Integrate innovative technologies and sustainable practices into the design process.
  • Identify design risks and implement mitigation strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10-15 years of experience in design management, civil engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in design of major rail projects.
  • Strong understanding of rail transit, and design management.
  • Proficient in design and analysis software
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to think strategically.
