Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

The successful candidate will join our growing UK Healthcare Team and contribute to the delivery of advisory and design solutions to the healthcare sector throughout the UK, with opportunities to work internationally.
We offer flexible working arrangements with candidates able to work from any of our primary offices as well as home. We have an exciting range of ongoing projects including Hillerod Hospital Denmark, Cambridge Children’s Hospital, Kettering General Hospital and KEMH, Falklands Islands.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Leading large multi-disciplinary project teams to successfully deliver MEP aspects of healthcare projects
  • Raising Ramboll’s profile and reputation in the Healthcare sector both nationally and internationally
  • In the Healthcare sector support Ramboll’s leadership team to
  • identify and track new project opportunities
  • national and International
  • single service line and multi-disciplinary
  • convert opportunities to appointed projects
  • Influencing bright minds to build their careers in the sector. Supporting team growth through

  • Influencing the continued evolvement of Ramboll’s technical delivery teams, with emphasis on

  • Take ownership of project delivery of projects in line with the contract scope and financial targets
  • collaboration across the organisation to ensure that appropriate resources and expertise are made available and that that we bring the best of our global and local knowledge to our projects
  • Working with our key clients to maintain and develop excellent professional relationships, securing their repeat business.
  • Understanding the Healthcare sector on a national level including relevant policies and sector trends
  • Take an active role in technical groups and team meetings to support continuous improvement
  • Take ownership and deliver on team improvement initiatives

  • Demonstratable experience in either Consultancy or Contracting delivering MEP advisory and design consultancy services for major healthcare projects
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Chartered Engineer status or have qualifications to support achieving Chartered Engineer status
  • Excellent personnel & project management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple disciplines/service lines on large/complex projects
  • Commercial and technical experience and judgement
  • Proven and demonstrable experience and technical excellence in your discipline / area of expertise
  • Effective interpersonal, organisational and communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • A client centric approach
  • Ability to motivate a team and demonstrate good leadership qualities
