Description

The MEP QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality assurance and control processes related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This includes reviewing MEP designs, inspecting installations, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring all works meet project specifications, codes, and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in QA/QC for MEP works on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
  • Familiarity with international standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with QA/QC software and document management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong reporting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

    Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor QA/QC plans for MEP works in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of MEP installations (HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire fighting, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation including ITPs, checklists, method statements, and inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
  • Review MEP material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements for compliance.
  • Ensure MEP installations conform to design requirements, codes (e.g., NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE), and safety standards.
  • Maintain records of quality assurance activities and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Support internal and external audits related to MEP quality.
  • Provide quality training and awareness to site teams when needed.
  • Assist in final testing, commissioning, and handover documentation for MEP systems.
