Description

We are hiring a qualified and detail-driven MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works within a contracting environment, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost planning, estimation, procurement, and commercial control related to MEP works across the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an MEP QS within a contracting company.
  • Proven experience in commercial and residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, BOQ preparation, and contractual procedures.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., ERP)
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per mont

Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for MEP works.
  • Review MEP drawings, specifications, and project documentation for cost and quantity take-offs.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate MEP subcontractor contracts and payment applications.
  • Monitor and control MEP project costs, including forecasting and reporting on cost variations.
  • Assist in the preparation of interim valuations, final accounts, and project close-out documentation.
  • Work closely with the project management, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide support in claims preparation, variation orders, and contract administration.
