Description

Process warranty claims for Mercedes Benz and third party warranty companies with a focus on timely submission, accurate submission and reconciliation of payments received. The Warranty Administrator serves a critical role in accurately processing and submitting warranty claims to manufacturer's specifications. Responsibilities * Coding of warranty repairs on service repair orders * Daily submission of properly coded warranty claims information to Mercedes Benz * Daily reconciliation of warranty payments received overnight from Mercedes Benz * Daily tracking of outstanding warranty claims * Daily tracking of suspended claims and management of the warranty claim to address reasons for suspension * Communicate with Mercedes Benz representatives for assistance as needed to complete processing of warranty claims * Monthly tracking of first time paid % and total paid % from Mercedes Benz's warranty composite report * Regular meetings with service and parts management to review warranty claims performance * Work with accounting department to research any variances in claims amount submitted and claims amount paid * Work with dispatcher and cashiers to efficiently process all open repair orders which include warranty repairs * Other tasks assigned by the Service Director Qualifications * Attention to detail * Ability to work across department lines within the organization for highest efficiency in processing of warranty claims * Diligence in researching suspended claims and correcting as needed for payment * Enjoys a high-paced volume of warranty claims and the satisfaction from completing the warranty claim process * Enjoys working directly with a team of employees to deliver an exceptional customer experience!
