• Preparation of timely monthly and quarterly reporting for the Merchandise segment of the business.
• Accurate preparation of monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations in line with Metcash reporting timelines
• Assist the Merchandise and Marketing Finance Manager with external auditors during half-year review and full-year audit.
• Improvement to existing processes including the streamlining of reporting in line with pillar requirements
• Ad-hoc project work as required

You’re Likely a Match If

• At least 2 years work experience (does not have to be in finance)
• Graduate degree in accounting or similar
• CPA / CA qualified or looking to complete either post graduate course
• Previous experience working with SAP, TM1, Power Enterprise, Power Query and PowerPivot would be an advantage
• Good attitude who is keen to learn
