ABOUT THIS POSITION We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our Merchandising team. This coordinator role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with foundational experience in logistics, particularly international shipping and receiving, and a strong interest in the operations of an online e-commerce store. You will be the backbone of our global merchandise fulfillment, playing a critical role for the team and our organization This role requires you to be onsite in our London, Ontario studio RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and track all incoming (receiving) and outgoing (shipping) merchandise inventory globally, utilizing appropriate carriers and following international customs regulations. Prepare and maintain all necessary shipping documentation (packing lists, commercial invoices, customs forms) for worldwide movement of goods. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records across all storage locations, conducting regular audits and cycle counts. Serve as the primary point of contact for our warehouse partners, addressing day-to-day shipping discrepancies, receiving issues, and inventory concerns. Help monitor shipping costs, track vendor performance, and process related invoices for logistics services while working closely with our finance team. Monitor the online store order queue, ensuring timely processing, accurate picking, and swift shipping from the fulfillment center. Assist the team by investigating and resolving shipping errors, lost packages, and delivery issues. Support the E-commerce team by preparing and uploading product data, including descriptions, weights, dimensions, and fulfillment requirements for new merchandise. Assist in the forecasting and allocation of inventory for upcoming promotions, product launches, and seasonal sales. Event merchandise support (Inventory, planning, merchandising, and day of event tasks) In-office support of on-site inventory and staff giveaway requests REQUIREMENTS 1-2 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse operations, or merchandising role, with exposure to both shipping and receiving processes. Foundational understanding or demonstrable interest in international logistics, customs, and import/export documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas) and experience working with Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong desire to learn and assist with the operational aspects of an online merchandise store. Practical experience in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Demonstrates strong logical, quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
