About the role We’re now looking for a Licensing & Merchandising Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you’ll drive the commercial growth of Tennis Australia’s merchandise and licensing portfolio, leading iconic Australian Open and TA event collections while scaling the brand’s licensing across Australia and key international markets. In this role you will: Partner with sponsors and licensees to create, develop and manage merchandise collections Lead end-to-end development of Australian Open branded merchandise, from research and insights through product and graphic design, sourcing and production, and supporting retail buy planning to achieve commercial targets Build and maintain strong relationships with licensees and merchandising partners to maximise retail and commercial opportunities In collaboration with the Head of Retail & Licensing, develop and manage a network of national and international licensing partners Coordinate venue merchandise execution and visual identity in partnership with the Retail Manager Contribute to and lead the execution of the international licensing growth strategy, identifying priority markets, business models and opportunities to drive sustainable growth About you To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience leading large-scale product development and delivering premium collections with strong commercial outcomes Strong brand and customer experience capability, with the ability to translate strategy into compelling merchandise and retail execution Demonstrated ability to build and manage supplier and partner relationships, including commercial negotiation experience Sound knowledge of international fashion and retail trends, applied across local and global markets Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, interpreting data and making strategic recommendations Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia What’s to love?
