An exciting opportunity has become available for a Merchandise Planner to join the White Fox family based at our stunning office Rosebery. Supporting the Merchandise Manager, you will use your merchandise planning fundamentals to help drive growth within the business using a highly analytical and data driven approach. The successful candidate will be positive, proactive and eager to continue to develop planning processes and ways of working. Key Responsibilities: Work with the merchandise planning and buying team to deliver trading actions, aligning the overarching business financial plans Collaborate on budget plans and re-forecasts with senior stakeholders Form and deliver product strategies to drive business growth Ensure optimal stock levels to minimise overstocking, balancing profitability and customer satisfaction Provide weekly summaries of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility, relating to; sales, stock, profit, versus budget and last year Ensure the correct balance of newness, repeat business, width, depth, pricing architecture, colour and category mix is planned Build a balanced option plan to deliver the brand strategy taking into account the 3 key markets Scenario modelling for key events to determine the sales potential taking into account relevant traffic estimates and assumptions Perform ad hoc reporting as required by the business and across different business units Develop short term and long term category strategies with the Buyer to maximise business trade Maintain Clear As You Go Strategy to keep stock efficient Assist in developing team capability and elevate performance across the merchandise planning function Refine current systems and processes that are in place and be instrumental in implementing best practices Minimum of 3 years in experience in a Merchandise Planning role Experience in Ecommerce is preferred Experience within a fashion retailer is preferred Strong collaboration and teamwork focus Aptitude for numbers and an outstanding attention to detail Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment An energetic, can do and positive attitude Able to manage own priorities, set own work objectives and proactively identify business issues and develop creative solutions Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities Advanced excel skills Stunning office, Rosebery location Generous monthly clothing allowance + ongoing discounts Onsite gym, kitchen stocked with goodies Ongoing training and development opportunities, including lunch and learn sessions High growth company with career progression available
