DESCRIPTION:

McGregor Gourlay is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Dorrigo team in a Merchandise Sales / Deliveries role. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to become an important member of our busy and dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be assisting the team with customer service, supporting in the warehouse and delivering products to clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Hold a current drivers licence.
  • Preferably hold a HR truck licence.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a forklift licence.
  • Physically capable of manual handling (lifting up to 25kg).
  • Preferably have customer service experience.
  • Preferably have agricultural knowledge and background.
  • Preferably have sound technological skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, to assist in achieving team objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting with customer service and answering phones
  • Efficiently manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders for delivery
  • Safely load and unload delivery vehicles in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist with and complete on-farm deliveries, client deliveries and internal transfers.
  • Maintain an organised and tidy warehouse space, ensuring goods are stored in the correct locations
  • Support with regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Help resolve any issues or discrepancies with incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
