Job Details Job Location: LSB-Bloomington - Bloomington, IL 61701 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $17.50 - $17.50 Hourly Job Shift: Day This position is a trainee position, designed to lead to employment opportunities as a Merchandiser/Delivery Assistant. This is an entry-level position that typically would be filled by someone with minimal or no experience in the beverage distribution field. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Adhere to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of efficient merchandising, maximized sales, and minimized returns. • Must identify what tools and equipment are needed for that day’s deliveries and make sure they are available on the truck. • Identify the tools and equipment needed for each day’s merchandising tasks and ensure they are prepared and available. • Maintain professionalism and compliance with all company standards while working in customer accounts.. • Follow the approved delivery structure and processes and will identify and fulfill spot sales opportunities. • Learn and maintain product freshness and move product when necessary. • Observe “work with” and “ride with” days with the Manager/ Delivery Driver to obtain coaching and training opportunities in the field. • Must maintain a pace of work that enables drivers to complete their deliveries in 12 hours or less due to DOT regulations. SAFETY Due to the physical requirements, as well as the need to maintain a high level of continual alertness in the work environment, this is a safety-sensitive position. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 21 years of age High School diploma/GED Must have a driving record acceptable to the Company Class “A" CDL Permit or a Class “B" CDL is preferred Ability to lift and move items ranging from 15 lbs. (a case of 24 12-oz. cans) to 58 pounds (small keg) and manipulate/handle up to 162 lbs. (large keg).
