Merchandiser - Development (BASED AT BIYAGAMA) MAS KREEDA, is a division of MAS Holdings, exclusively producing high-performance sportswear for Nike. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure that all activities from the receipt of the ‘Proto request’ until the buy process is carried out in an effective manner in order to achieve the sales budgets thereby, meeting business objectives and customer satisfaction through high service levels, maximizing sales revenue KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure style pages are created on all styles accurately on the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system/ development portal and initiate the development meetings upon receipt of the proto kit from Nike, and forward information to relevant parties whilst, ensuring raw materials are available in house, to deliver the protos and embellishment development to the customer in a timely manner. Coordinate the Proto/ GGP (Global Geo Pivot)/SPA (Seasonal Partner Alignment) sample development process whilst, sourcing fabric and other raw material to ensure samples are completed and delivered in a timely manner. Liaise with Product Development Centre (PDC), embellishment, planning and sourcing teams once the make plan is available, to ensure styles are ready for the next buy, by obtaining approval for fit, costing, embellishment etc. whilst, ensuring the completion of all relevant documentation and Engage and support in other development related activities & initiatives such as customer onsite visits / projects & other sampling processes etc. by coordinating with relevant internal/external parties to ensure the quality & timeliness of product Prepare costing sheets on PLM / negotiate pricing terms, lead times and minimum production quantities whilst, coordinating with the costing unit & other relevant parties until the costing is finalized thereby meeting all internal expectations. Identify respective styles and volumes on receipt of the buy and carryout buy processing activities, forwarding details to relevant parties whilst, updating information into the PLM system in a timely/ accurate manner facilitating smooth operations and the achievement of operational KPI’s. Maintain good relationships with key decision makers of the respective customer and act proactively in identifying customer specific solutions whilst, implementing same in order to provide a value-added service. Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contribute towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Diploma/ Degree in Marketing or relevant professional qualification Prior experience will be advantageous in areas such as knowledge on Product Development, fabrics, embellishments, styles & samples. Communication, negotiation, people & time management skills IT literacy
