We all love what we do, and we have fun doing it!  Summary:   The Merchandiser is responsible for product merchandising from back stock at each assigned retailer/customer location. This position follows a weekend schedule, with regular days off on Wednesdays and Thursdays.   Primary Duties:  Stock shelves, floor displays and coolers with EDI product in back stock inventory. Ensure product is rotated for first in first out by code date.  Ensure displays are merchandised with the proper POS material. Note any out of stock or potential low or out of stock situations and communicate to appropriate sales personnel.  Maintain a clean and organized back stock area. Break down all cartons and carriers and dispose of properly. Transport products from back stock to display areas using U boats, hand trucks and pallet jacks.  All other duties as assigned.   Additional Skills:  Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Self-motivated and results oriented. Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects. Ability to lift, load, unload, and move product that weighs up 60 lbs constantly and up to 165 lbs occasionally.  Ability to work in a cool environment.(as low as 40 degrees)  Ability to work independently.    Requirements:  High School Diploma or GED  Attend all required meetings, webinars and conference calls  Complete all assigned ABU training  Daily travel within 100 mile radius may be required.  1 year of previous experience in warehouse or manual labor preferred  WHY EAGLE DISTRIBUTING:   We pride ourselves on being Agile, Innovative, and Elite.
