About the role: We’re looking for energetic, vibrant individuals to help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate within our Grocery Channel (Woolworths, Coles, Independents). We are looking for people who are able to work around Fairfield. As a Merchandiser, you will support the Field Sales team in spreading the word about Lindt by: Building strong relationships with our customers in a designated territory Building POS (bins), to display Lindt products. Merchandising Lindt products at shelf e.g. Facing up, ticketing, investigating out of stocks and stocking shelves Stock rotation / cleaning / maintenance Identifying in-store display opportunities to drive increased brand exposure and sales volumes. Supporting your Area Manager with Preselling of the plan and negotiation of display locations Recording promotional compliance through CRM system Executing merchandising standards of excellence Reporting back on store and consumer insights Put simply, our Merchandisers ensure we get noticed and that our chocolate is front and centre – available for all to enjoy! On top of this, you'll meet lots of interesting people, have the opportunity to develop your sales career, and have fun whilst working in a supportive team environment! What you will bring: Previous grocery retail experience, ideally as a sales merchandiser or representative Confidence and commitment to work autonomously Ability to build strong customer relationships Strong communication skills Ability to productively plan and organise your working week Don’t mind getting some exercise in your day, whilst moving stock and building displays Ability to utilise an iPad (supplied) and associated software and apps Prior experience applying effective manual handling techniques A current "full" driver's licence and vehicle.
