JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of merchandising activities for the Home Appliances and Electronics category across our hypermarket branches in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in retail merchandising within the UAE market, with strong vendor coordination and team management skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in retail merchandising, specifically in home appliances and electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of the UAE retail market, especially Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.
  • Proven experience in supervising multi-location teams.
  • Good understanding of planograms, visual merchandising, and retail KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and POS/inventory systems.
  • Valid UAE driving license is a plus (preferred due to travel requirements between locations).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Retail Management.
  • Familiarity with popular electronics/home appliance brands in UAE.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of merchandisers across multiple locations (Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi).
  • Plan and implement product displays and layouts that maximize visibility and sales.
  • Ensure all electronics and home appliance products are properly tagged, priced, and aligned with promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor stock levels, plan replenishment, and coordinate with warehouse/inventory team for product availability.
  • Track sales performance and provide analytical feedback to the Key Account Manager for pricing and promotion strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with planograms, brand guidelines, and in-store visual merchandising standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and brand promoters for in-store activations and seasonal displays.
  • Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis to stay updated with market trends and pricing.
  • Train and mentor junior merchandisers on best practices and customer service standards.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of display sections.
  • Provide weekly and monthly merchandising reports to management.
