Description Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states. Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Position Summary: Perform duties to merchandise products and ensure all products are fully stocked, rotated and properly displayed. Work from verbal orders and written procedure documents: Fosters business relationship with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions. Remove product from backroom freezers and, using cart, move to sales floor. Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs. Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by case and SKU, arranging the return of empty pallets, damaged and out of date product to the branch. Maintain standard reports of cases and hours worked at each store. Communicate issues and/or concerns to Sales Representatives and/or District Manager. Knowledge/skills: Organizational Skills: Main responsibility is to organize products. Computer literacy Market and Product knowledge Ensure all products have a shelf tag. Must have effective communication skills which include listening, speaking, and writing. Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively to satisfy the needs of a variety of customers with different demands and expectations.
