WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE This position contributes to Evolution Fresh success by acting as the secondary store-level salesperson who is responsible for merchandising all Evolution Fresh brand products to a pre-determined customer base. Interacts with store personnel (store manager, produce manager, receiver). * Responsible for maintaining (working back stock) product on all shelves at all assigned accounts * Maintain all assigned accounts relative to schematic, product rotation and customer service * Must meet regularly scheduled merchandising time windows of assigned accounts * Responsible for FIFO rotation on all products * Must keep all back-room inventory neat, rotated and organized * Must keep all products and display equipment (coolers, glides, etc.) clean and neatly organized * Maintain point-of-purchase materials (promotional tags, shelf talkers, etc.) to stimulate sales * Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner * Identify and communicate with supervisor any issues or opportunities as it relates to daily activities or assignments * Maintains regular and punctual attendance WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Working for a retail business or grocery store * Operating material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, etc.) * Experience with perishable products (preferably refrigerated) * Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) * Valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation in the past 12 months ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities * Reliable transportation and insurance * Must speak, read, and write English * Ability to begin shift early (3am) and work flexible work weeks including Saturday and Sunday as a regularly scheduled workday * Stocking shelves/managing inventory * Meeting time commitments * Understanding store operations PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Lifting/loading pushing and pulling cases weighing up to 35 pounds repeatedly throughout an 8–10-hour period as well as bending, squatting, and reaching while merchandising product WHAT WE OFFER plus more!
