Description
Our client, a Global Healthcare and Crop Science Innovation company, is seeking Merchandisers from across Zambia to join their team. The Merchandisers will be responsible for producing sales by providing point-of-purchase assistance and shelf management services. Key Responsibilities: Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives. Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately. Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock. Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc. Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals. Remain up to date with industry’s best practices. A full grade 12 certificate Minimum Certificate in Agriculture from a recognised and approved institution. Experience in merchandising or any related activity with farmers will be an added advantage.
