We’re looking for a Merchandising and Assortment Coordinator who will provide critical operational support to ensure the accuracy and quality of the Marley Spoon and Dinnerly weekly assortment. This role integrates cross-functional coordination with data-driven analysis to optimise assortment performance, customer satisfaction and brand growth. You won’t just coordinate menus - you’ll help shape high-performing weekly assortments that delight customers and drive growth. The Opportunity Plan and optimise weekly assortments, managing constraints and using recommendation tools to deliver high-performing menus aligned to financial, customer and business metrics. Execute merchandising campaigns by coordinating must-use recipes, promotional badges, categorisation and other tools to drive engagement and sales. Analyse weekly performance data (revenue, attachment rates, customer ratings) to optimise the back catalogue and inform future menu decisions. Coordinate end-to-end SKU planning (Fixed, Seasonal and Rotational), balancing MOQs and minimising waste in collaboration with Supply Chain and Sourcing teams. Manage real-time recipe, item and assortment updates pre- and post-lock to resolve supply chain deviations and sourcing changes. Support new product onboarding from discovery through to launch, ensuring smooth integration into the assortment. Maintain merchandising reports and conduct competitor and market research to support strategic decision-making. Provide operational support during production weeks, assisting with supply incident resolution while balancing cost efficiency and customer outcomes. What we’re looking for: You’ll thrive in this role if you’re highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially curious. You enjoy solving problems, collaborating cross-functionally, and using data to inform decisions — but you also bring a genuine passion for food and product. You’ll bring: 1+ years’ experience in e-commerce planning, administration, or the food industry. Food-related, business, or administration tertiary qualifications. A strong understanding of ingredients, culinary trends and techniques (or a deep passion for food!). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills. The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage shifting priorities. Bonus points if you have: Proficiency in Asana, Google Sheets, CMS systems.
