About the Team DashMart is a new team at DoorDash, focused on building a new type of convenience store that offers both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customers' doorsteps. About the Role We’re looking for a Merchandising & Category Management Specialist who is excited to help build DashMart, DoorDash's first-party grocery and convenience store. In this hybrid role, you will execute the strategic vision of the Merchandising and Category Management teams, splitting your time between optimizing the digital store experience and managing category-level strategy. You will own the store page to create the most compelling experience for customers, while also analyzing assortment and vendor performance to ensure DashMart offers the right products at the right value. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Execute day-to-day store page updates to reflect the broader merchandising strategy and optimize the customer experience Build curated collections of SKUs, including seasonal and promotional assortments, to create a relevant and engaging store page experience Ensure accurate and compelling representation of SKUs on the store page, including new item launches Monitor performance of the store page through Add to Cart and Conversion rates, sharing insights with the team to identify improvements Design and upload store page banners to communicate promotions and featured products to customers Support Category Managers with assortment, pricing, and promotional execution Assist with new item setup and vendor onboarding to ensure products are launched smoothly Pull and analyze reports on category sales, margin, and inventory to surface insights and opportunities Conduct competitive and market research to support category decisions Collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, supply chain, and analytics teams to ensure flawless execution of category initiatives We're excited about you because… Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong ownership mentality and creative mindset. Proficiency with spreadsheets (SQL a plus). Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience with design tools such as Figma or Photoshop preferred. Experience in retail, grocery, or e-commerce merchandising/category support is an asset. Compensation Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
