Description

True Classic is seeking a creative and commercially minded Merchandising Manager (Contract-to-Hire) to support product development, seasonal merchandising, and market research. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, working closely with the Co-Founder and Head of Merchandising to shop the market, discover new fabrics and styles, and contribute to brand direction.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of trend awareness, product storytelling, and technical skill in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong understanding of apparel merchandising fundamentals. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience looking to grow their influence in product strategy while staying close to design and market discovery.
This is a full-time, in-office role based at our Calabasas, CA headquarters. You’ll be on-site with the team Monday through Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or product development (apparel strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Google Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising fundamentals: assortment building, sell-through analysis, SKU tracking.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for product creation, trend discovery, and storytelling.
