Purpose of the Job The Merchandising Manager will lead a team to develop and execute product assortment strategies that strengthen the company’s competitiveness in pet food, accessories, health products, and related segments. The role holder is responsible for defining a clear merchandising roadmap that supports overall business goals.Responsibilities •    Develop product assortment strategies across pet food, accessories, health products and related segment to achieve business goals•    Define assortment and merchandising roadmap based on business direction•    Build and optimize category assortment based on sales data and customer needs •    Maintain and build strong relationship with principals and suppliers•    Track category performance including sales, GM%, sell through and inventory turnover•    Manage SKU lifecycle including product selection, onboarding, rationalization, and discontinuation•    Work closely with operation, marketing and E-commerce team to develop promotion programme•    Conduct market research, consumer insights analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify trends and growth opportunitiesRequirements •    Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or related field.•    12 years of experience in merchandising or buying, preferably in pet retail, FMCG, grocery, or specialty retail•    Strong negotiation, analytical communication and stakeholder‑management skills.•    Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint•    Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
