The key mission of this role is to elevate the qualitative category merchandising streams and to provide continuous business empowerment to assert Fashion singularity, support Creation and amplify the collection message while bringing relevance to the diversity of our clients in SEAA. Impact You Can Create In The Role: Managing the Merchandising Cycle is one of the core activities in the Fashion business. It consists of the end-to-end process from OTB planning, preparing collection launch (e.g. pricing & replenishment), through FP/MD sales period before arriving end of life cycle processing. Throughout the cycle, there are certain check points that require consistent execution across the region in accordance our Fashion strategies and governance. Answer the needs of the division to cover a wider range of merchandising operational activities at a deeper depth. Successful execution of this role will enhance consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness on major activities inside the merchandising cycle across the region. The role will also act as a subject expert and influencer to ensure the region’s strategies are well understood and executed. Key Responsibilities: Act as owner of the product life cycle planning and execution. Syntheses Fashion business case related to product merchandising / product life cycle matters. Provide analytics to evaluate sales trend, inventory planning and category performance. OTB Planning Be a subject expert of OTB planning; lead the market counterparts on the OTB planning exercise and be able to collaborate with regional & global counterparts Provide merchandising planning insights during buying sessions Fashion Analytics Identify and analyze business needs, investigate the effectiveness of merchandising operation process, propose solution in accordance with the region’s strategy Data ownership and stewardship on Fashion Merchandising & Retail data domain, ensure the quality and management of data across applications. Business owner of the Fashion analytics platforms and digital merchandising tools (e.g. PEPS, e-catalog). Provide vision on further enhancement of these platforms and tools. Key merchandising cycle process at regional level: Master the calendars (e.g. pricing, launch, MD) planning, act according to the strategy in order to maximize benefits to markets. Collaborate with and influence Retail community on execution Develop end of cycle management strategy including market Staff Sales. Master the Fashion Replenishment System & merchandising tools, support markets to use the system effectively Stock Efficiency Act on the best interest (image and business) for SEAA to ensure optimal inventory level at each market. Capture opportunity and mitigate risk through active management on inventory planning and optimisation. Facilitate processing and measurement of inventory movement in an effective and sustainable manner. You are Energized by: A strong grasp of Fashion Strategy and the product lifecycle, enabling you to contribute meaningfully across planning and execution phases. Deep understanding of Fashion Product Referential and its practical application in driving business decisions. Leveraging digital tools to drive performance— using Microsoft Office 365 applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams to collaborate and communicate effectively, while your experience with Power BI, TM1, and Anaplan adds depth to your data-driven decision-making. Transforming data into insights—you thrive on uncovering patterns, interpreting complex datasets, and crafting compelling narratives that drive informed decisions. Thriving in cross-functional teams and multicultural environments, bringing with you exceptional communication & interpersonal skills. What You Will Bring Relevant academic background in fashion, merchandising, or business disciplines. Over 5 years of experience in fashion merchandising, including 3 years in a managerial capacity, demonstrating leadership in product strategy and execution. Proven track record in OTB (Open-to-Buy) planning, driving commercial success through effective inventory and financial management, managing product lifecycle operations, ensuring seamless coordination from launch to end-of-life. Ability to independently manage business cases, assess risks, and propose actionable solutions. Strong influencing skills with a bias for action—making things happen across teams and functions. A curious mindset with a passion for learning and a drive to challenge the status quo constructively. A collaborative team player who actively shares knowledge and fosters collective growth. Agility and adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, ever-evolving business environments. Comfortable working in multi-cultural settings, bringing empathy and inclusivity to cross-border collaboration.
