Responsibilities: • Be the national point of contact for Merchandising within their category(ies), ensuring alignment with the Merchandising Leader; • Develop, update, and optimize planograms for all stores, including adaptations by format, cluster, or store profile; • Review planograms according to the in & out cycle (introduction of new items and discontinued products); • Ensure the correct parameterization of items in the space management software, in accordance with national guidelines; • Define display principles and rules for their categories, aligned with the Global Merchandising Framework and national guidelines; • Prepare recommendations for commercial, promotional, and seasonal campaigns and ensure their proper execution with Store Planning & Operations; • Train store commercial operations teams within the scope of their categories; • Participate in range reviews with the Offer team and oversee the in-store implementation of assortment decisions; • Act as the operational link between Offer, Supply, and Operations for their category universe, ensuring accurate data, consistent parameterization, and space adjustments according to business needs. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in management, Marketing, Architecture, or a similar field (preferred); • Solid experience in visual merchandising, store planning, trade marketing, or category management within the food retail sector; • Proficiency in visual merchandising/planogram tools (e.g., Spaceman, Mockshop, JDA, Relex, or similar); • Good knowledge of Excel; • AutoCAD skills (preferred); • Experience in multinational environments and with global execution standards; • Strong process data and operational discipline orientation; • Strong cross-functional influencing skills, including with national stakeholders; • Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) – mandatory (minimum B2). Workplace Head Office in Alfragide, with availability to travel to stores nationwide for 20% of working time.
