  • Willingness to learn property analysis from M&A lead (over time) using Pictometry, Google Earth Pro, and ProMetrix to create MSBs.
  • General understanding of various types of legal entities and corporate structures.
  • Ability to multi-task, function and respond with urgency to demanding private equity requests.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask while paying close attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to de-escalate tense client interactions while providing a timely solution to their concerns.

Responsibilities

IN ADDITION TO THE DUTIES RELATED TO THE MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS DEPARTMENT, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO PROVIDE GENERAL SERVICE ASSISTANCE TO THE CLIENT SERVICE TEAM AS IT RELATES TO POST-CLOSE ACQUISITION ACTIVITY. THESE TASKS MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT NECESSARILY LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Instruct Client Managers on what needs to be endorsed and guidance on which lines of coverage need to be endorsed.
  • Answer service team questions pertaining to post-close structure and ability to explain the nature of acquisitions.
  • M&A Analyst may be required to issue urgent, time-sensitive proofs of coverage that could be needed to facilitate deal closure.
