What your role and typical day might look like At Merkle we help organisations define, design, build and transform into the business of the future. In tackling this challenge, we have had outstanding success in transforming the sales, service and marketing functions of some of New Zealand’s most iconic companies. Building on our success, we’re searching for a Business Analyst to support us on a fixed term basis over the next 9 – 12 months in Auckland. This role has a technology at the core, so experience working on application transformation programmes at an enterprise level programme is crucial to collaborate effectively with wider agile teams and customers. You’ll be responsible to gather information, analyse data and propose solutions to assist with delivering a digital transformation that maximises the potential of Salesforce and the client’s technology ecosystem to make a real difference. Responsibilities include Support the delivery of approved products using agile techniques and frameworks to ensure high-quality products and user experience Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and plan and facilitate workshops to gather requirements, analyse results, develop business requirements, and identify opportunities for process improvement and simplification Express the required business outcomes and user experience through quality user stories and acceptance criteria Work closely with the client and product owners to ensure features and stories are structured and prioritised effectively Assist delivery team to support design and development activities, and to ensure all requirements are accurately addressed and any project / delivery risks or issues and escalated appropriately Support the development of project documentation to ensure products are delivered and maintained in a transparent fashion and stored and maintained as per Organisational standards A bit about you A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience as Business Analyst with experience delivering to enterprise application projects, such as CRM, ERP or similar digital technology solutions Experience in a professional services, consultancy environment delivering digital technologies is high desirable, or, experience within the financial services sector. Understanding of SDLC, organisational change and human centred design methodologies Sound understanding of working in an agile environment, certifications would be advantageous A self-starter with a confident communicator with facilitation and presentation skills A problem solver – organised, analytical and naturally curious Strong English language skills, written and verbal as you’ll be leading workshops, engaging stakeholders and creating project documentation along the way.
