Description

Description As an MES Engineer at EOSYS, you will be working with small, multi-disciplinary team to develop solutions for our manufacturing clients. Applications range from OEE applications to full-scale MES/MIS/MOM applications across multiple facilities. The EOSYS Digital Transformation team focuses primarily in the food & beverage and automotive industries. On some projects, you will also be a part of the project commissioning team that goes onsite to the client. Requirements BS in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical) 5+ years experience developing MES/MIS/MOM applications Configure workflows, data models, and system integrations Build supporting components (APIs, scripts, light applications) Work directly with customers to clarify requirements Follow EOSYS standards and reuse established templates Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments Participate in testing and onsite commissioning Ability to travel approximately 10% Technical Scope MES platforms SQL / data modeling C# / .NET / Javascript or equivalent scripting APIs, integrations, basic web technologies OPC / PLC data integration Nice to Have Experience with Parsec TrakSYS, AVEVA MES, PLEX, or Proficy Experience with OPC UA Experience with 3rd party web controls (e.g. DevExtreme or equivalent) Basic knowledge of PLC tag structures and communications Experience with MQTT / UNS Experience developing SCADA systems Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
