JOB DESCRIPTION:

The MES Support Administrator is pivotal for the successful assessment, optimization, and ongoing administration of our ERP systems. It demands a combination of ERP expertise, and robust systems support skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at configuring, optimizing, and maintaining our implemented ERP solution and will be a valuable team player. The MES Support Administrator will be responsible for the efficient running of our MES and ERP systems in conjunction with operations and administrative departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 Years experience working as an MES support administrator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with PLEX ERP is preferred.
  • In-depth technical experience with utilizing database programming languages
  • Proficiency in SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field or equivalent combination of related work experience and education.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills (software, network, etc).
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office application (Microsoft Suite, MS Teams, Microsoft 365 cloud service) and other collaboration tools.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in assessing and optimizing the Plex ERP system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and customize reports accordingly.
  • Conduct thorough system testing and validation to ensure accurate functionality and data integrity.
  • Manage data migration processes, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to the Plex ERP platform.
  • Customize and configure Plex ERP solutions to align with organizational processes and objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and efficiency improvements, implementing changes to enhance overall performance.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for Plex ERP configurations and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training sessions for end-users and support staff to ensure a proficient understanding of Plex ERP functionality and usage.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the IT team, department heads, and external vendors, to ensure effective communication and alignment of Plex ERP initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Regularly communicate project updates, timelines, and potential challenges to relevant stakeholders.
  • Administer and maintain the overall health and performance of the organization’s Plex infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user and system-related issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Ad-hoc projects and improvements as required.
