JOB SUMMARY:

The Messenger will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical fitness center. This position involves transporting medical samples, supplies, and documents, performing lab coordination tasks, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Capable of lifting and carrying items, standing for extended periods, and moving efficiently throughout the facility.

• Efficiently and safely transport urine and blood samples between collection cubicles and the laboratory, ensuring proper handling and adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Deliver essential medical supplies such as vacuum tubes and syringes to designated storage areas and departments, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Act as a liaison between the lab and medical staff by managing the transfer of samples and other materials, maintaining clear documentation, and ensuring seamless coordination.
• Handle and transfer important documents between various departments, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and prompt delivery.
• Regularly change and maintain curtains in medical cubicles to ensure hygiene, privacy, and a pleasant environment for patients.
• Transport female x-ray gowns, monitor inventory levels, and report any discrepancies to the X-ray Head to ensure an adequate supply.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit to the center.
• Maintain effective communication with lab staff, medical personnel, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety and handling protocols for all medical samples and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
