Job Description Reporting to the MET data & Innovation lead, the role is to develop a data analytics platform and manage people capabilities and talents to enable AI-driven and analytical requirement for engineering & manufacturing organization. This role leads a team of data engineers and scientists in Pune and fully integrates with existing platform to drive synergies with P&S and DPI teams. She/He ensures quality delivery in time at full on analytical & AI products in line with customer needs. This role is key in shaping Artificial Intelligence & analytics strategy for manufacturing and engineering working in partnership with DPI, sites and engineering teams. Manage a team in Pune and coordinate with DPI, T&E, and operations to ensure analytical platform readiness and adoption. Support the strategic global seeq deployment working with T&E. Interface with T&E, PTAI, Data Science Teams, Manufacturing & Engineering, DPI Infrastructure & Platform Teams, Business Operations Leaders. Work closely with MET team and product owner in the operations to pilot and deploy analytical solutions. Act as an internal consultant on AI and analytical topics driving strategic direction. Qualifications Minimum 8-10 years in managing team management in the context of digital Experience in agile delivery / devops Proven track record of developing analytical / AI solution ideally in manufacturing/industrial settings Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating across multiple stakeholders Demonstrated success in delivering measurable business impact through analytics initiatives (ROI, efficiency gains, predictive accuracy) Experience working with external research partnerships (e.g., academic institutions, technology vendors) Knowledge of manufacturing data systems (historians, MES, LIMS, SAP) Proficiency in analytics platforms (Seeq, Databricks, Azure/AWS analytics services) Additional Information Syngenta is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion or any other employment practices for reasons of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
