As an MET Technician, you’ll be responsible for dismantling and reassembling vehicles in accordance with prescribed repair methods, ensuring every job meets the highest standards. Key duties include:

• Stripping and rebuilding vehicles as per estimates and repair methods.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out corrective work.
• Refitting components and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Working closely with estimators, parts departments, and workshop control to meet deadlines.
• Reporting additional faults and advising the VDA or Workshop Controller.
• Maintaining detailed job card notes and ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
• Ensuring all parts are correctly ordered and managing returns as needed.
• Applying a “right first time” approach to every repair.
