Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a MET Technician to join our Ford dealership in Gillingham. This position is offered on a full-time working contract of 45 hours a week Monday – Friday, paying £36,000 - £38,000 depending on experience with and an OTE of £48,000 reporting to the Bodyshop Manager. Investigating, reporting and advising on vehicle and component repair ability. Carrying out repair operations to agreed methods and standards, working to times and standards as directed by Insurance company guidelines, Manufacturer’s standards, BSI standards and or AMG policy. Interpreting and applying technical service and repair data and thoroughly reading all vehicle repair literature and updates supplied. Required Skills & Experience To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills: A full UK driving licence Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial Fantastic verbal and written English skills Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential) At Allen Motor Group, we drive an inclusive workplace, respecting and encouraging applications from every background.
