M.E.T TECHNICIAN

The right candidate will have the expertise, diligence and attention-to-detail required for working with the finest cars in the world. Careful execution of work, tidiness and experience with the latest diagnostic tools and technical information systems are all key attributes of our ideal candidate.
The Chartwell MET Technician will be able to accurately strip and refit vehicles, diagnose issues and clearly communicate them to colleagues. Chartwell will offer support, advice and regular training activities to develop candidates to the highest level possible.

Responsibilities

You will be welcomed into an established team, and you will work with exciting products. A large part of the M.E.T Technician position involves:

  • Preparing vehicles to a high standard.
  • Completing mechanical, electrical and trim strip and refit work
  • Developing EV awareness and compliance
  • Advising the VDAs of any additional work necessary during the repair process.
  • Working in a team to complete large jobs and assist colleagues where necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

The successful candidate for our M.E.T Technician vacancy will have proven experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills. Previous accident repair experience and or an ATA qualification would be an advantage, but full training and development will be provided to the right candidate.
