METABOLOMICS/MASS SPECTROMETRY, TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Analytical Chemist to join the research group led by Prof. Rescigno. The group investigates diverse research areas, including vascular barriers regulation, cancer biology, host-microbiota interactions, and mucosal immunology.
The selected candidate will support the team’s laboratory work, with a primary focus on metabolomics projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sample preparation;
• Protocol optimization;
• Data analysis
• Results reporting
• Day-to-day management of laboratory equipment.

The candidate will work closely with research staff, students and with the Humanitas Metabolomic Core Facility, which is equipped with cutting-edge instruments (https://www.humanitas-research.com/tech-platforms/metabolomics/).

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is required;
• Prior experience in metabolomics research or related fields is highly desirable;
• English effective oral and written communication skills;
• Teamwork abilities;
• Problem-solving proficiency are essential;
• Adaptability to changes in technological and scientific directions.
