GraniteFuel Engineering Inc. (located in Maple, Ontario) is a subsidiary of the DCL Technology Group, and is experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking a Metal Assembler to join our growing team.
GraniteFuel Engineering is a fast-growing Canadian company that provides equipment and service for sustainable energy industry. We design and develops innovative renewable natural gas systems for the upgrading of innovative fuel conditioning systems (FCS) for industrial engines fueled by wellhead, landfill or digester gas to renewable pipeline quality gas. GraniteFuel’s unique fuel conditioning solutions are custom designed for each application to provide consistent and efficient reduction of fuel contaminants.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 Years of related experiences, and related college certificate such as Mechanic, Plumbing, HVAC, Chemical Process, Water/Waste Water Treatment;
  • Good at operating forklift/crane and other material handling equipment/devices.
  • Able to read assembly drawings.
  • Good communications skills and team player.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a pipe skid assembling shop with instruction of Shop Supervisor and/or his designation, involved in a variety of activities such as part receiving, inventory maintenance, material allocation to different assembly stations, skid assembling, checking and packaging of finished goods, loading for shipping.
  • Identify individual pipe spools, pipe fittings, hardware, different types of valves, and other related equipment (such as blowers, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.), and assembly them together according to drawings/images and other types of instructions.
  • Work with other shop workers to conduct assembly work; check other shop workers’ work quality and monitor their efficiency and progress.
  • Organize raw material and tools, shop floor space, under the Supervision of Shop Supervisor.
  • Work with Shop Supervisor and Product Develop Engineers to make assembly procedures and plans.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Occasional travel to job site to assist commissioning and start‐up.
