Liburdi Turbine Services is a leading provider of advanced repair and life extension technologies for high-performance turbine components used in the power generation and aerospace industries. We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Metal Blender/Finisher. The role of Metal Blender/Finisher reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages including shift premiums.
We have the following vacancies to fill immediately:
Day Shift (2 openings) (Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm)
2nd Shift (2 openings) (Monday to Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am) + $1 shift premium
3rd Shift (1 openings) (Sunday to Friday 11:00pm – 7:00am) + $1.50 shift premium

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Restore parts to their original geometric specifications using various fabrication and finishing techniques
• Perform blending operations to ensure a consistent surface finish according to outlined specifications

Key Skill Requirements:

• Excellent hand eye coordination
• Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent fine manual dexterity is required

Key Experience/Education:

• Minimum Secondary School education
• Experience working with small hand tools is required
• Experience grinding and prepping parts is an asset
• Experience with air powered tools is an asset
• Experience with metal finishing is an asset
• Experience with inspection tools (for example: Vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators) is an asset
