We are seeking a Metal Fabrication Technician to support the production of metal components used across our lighting collections. This role is foundational to the quality, consistency, and efficiency of downstream finishing and assembly. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, is comfortable working from drawings and jigs, and understands the importance of precision and repeatability in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Metal Fabrication Cut, drill, tap, and form metal components according to drawings and templates. Operate shop equipment including drill presses, band saws, brakes, and basic fabrication tools. Produce repeatable parts within defined tolerances. Process & Accuracy Work within established processes and fabrication systems. Maintain dimensional accuracy and clean execution. Identify tolerance issues, tooling problems, or recurring failures and flag them early. Shop Organization & Equipment Care Maintain tools, jigs, and work areas organized, clean and in good working order. Follow safety procedures and fabrication best practices. Support a clean, organized, and professional shop environment. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience Hands-on experience in metal fabrication, machining, or related trades. Ability to read drawings and follow documented processes. Familiarity with tolerances and precision work. Professional Skills Methodical, process-driven approach to fabrication. Strong attention to detail and repeatability. Respect for how fabrication impacts finishing, assembly, and QC. Clear communication when issues arise.
