About Us
Aertex Group is a leading service provider in Traffic Control, Linemarking, and Civil Construction across the Northern Territory. We have recently expanded our operations under a Roadside Furniture contract and are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. This role will focus on the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of roadside infrastructure including cattle grids, guardrails, and breakaway posts for signage.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication, welding, and repair of roadside furniture and related metal structures.
• Maintenance and installation of cattle grids, guardrails, and breakaway sign posts.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Operating fabrication machinery, welding equipment, and hand tools safely.
• Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and company quality requirements.
• Working in compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and site safety standards.
• Supporting the delivery of projects in line with client and contract requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding.
• Knowledge of roadside infrastructure maintenance (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Driver’s Licence (MR/HR licence advantageous).
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
