JOB SUMMARY:

We’re a growing automation and fabrication team looking for a Metal Fabricator with experience in welding, fitting, cutting, and general fabrication practices. Work with modern, well-maintained equipment while taking pride in tackling unique projects in a safe, supportive, and team-focused environment.
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with proven experience in MIG and TIG. This role involves reading blueprints, fabricating to precise specifications, and producing high-quality welds that meet or exceed industry standards. Experience using laser cutting equipment, brake press, and hydraulic shear would be beneficial.

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a fabricator
• Forklift experience (asset)
• Experience using laser cutting equipment, brake press, and hydraulic shear (asset)
• Practices safe welding habits and always uses proper PPE
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to handle challenges

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG)
• Set up and operate shop equipment such as drill press, grinders, torch, band saw, hand tools, etc.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures with precision
• Perform welding in multiple positions
• Uphold quality standards
• Troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during the welding process, such as weld defects or equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with team members, fabricators and engineers to meet deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion and team success.
