We are looking to hire skilled metal fabricators capable of setting up and running multiple types of machinery. We have an opening on day shift for someone with expereince setting up and operating several of the following machines, CNC tube benders, CNC Brake Press, CNC Mill, Lasers, and MIG welders. We run nonrotating shifts in a year-round climate-controlled plant (air conditioned).
Your role will be to assist the plant manager in setting up the fore mentioned machinery for use by others and yourself for short run production parts. You need to be willing to operate the machinery as well as set it up.
A proven ability to measure parts while reading and correctly interpreting drawing is required. Your skill with basic measuring tools verniers, protractors, height gauges etc will need to be demonstrated.
This is a full time position with an expanding company. First shift runs 7:00 am to 5:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday as required 7:00am to 3:15pm. You will not be required to work weekends or more than 48 hours per week.
The salary for this position will reflect your ability and expereince. We pay above local and provincial average wages. We have an employee health spending account to cover dental, prescriptions, glasses etc.
