Park Avenue Wrought Iron (PAWI) is a boutique Melbourne-based manufacturer specializing in high-quality wrought iron, steel and Aluminium products, including gates, balustrades, fencing, and automation systems. With a reputation for craftsmanship, precision, and premium service, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced Metal Fabricator.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication or a related trade
• Strong welding skills with attention to detail and finish quality
• Ability to read and interpret workshop/architectural drawings
• Experience fabricating balustrades, gates, fencing, or architectural steelwork (preferred)
• Current driver’s license (Manual Preferred) and ability to work independently or in a small team
• White Card and Forklift License (preferred, or willing to obtain)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated metal fabricator who can produce custom architectural metalwork to a high standard. You’ll work across a wide range of projects, from bespoke gates and fencing to detailed balustrades and architectural features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabrication of steel, aluminium and wrought iron products to drawings and specifications
• MIG welding of mild steel and aluminium
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Operation of standard fabrication machinery and tools (cold saws, drills, grinders, etc.)
• Assisting with site installations when required
• Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment
