Metallurgical Engineer - On-site Only - Warwick, RI
Salary Range: 100,000 - 120,000

Summary: Seeking a Metallurgical Engineer with expertise in melt processes and 10 years of experience to analyze, develop, and improve materials.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering
• 10 years’ experience in metallurgical engineering
• Expertise in melt processes
• Strong understanding of mechanical, thermal, and electrical behavior of metals

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with material testing techniques (e.g., hardness testing, microstructure analysis)
• Knowledge of casting, forging, welding, heat treatment, and corrosion prevention
• Familiarity with ASTM, ISO, AWS standards

• Analyze and test metals to determine properties and performance
• Develop and improve metallurgical processes for material production
• Collaborate with teams to recommend material choices based on requirements
• Ensure materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct failure analysis for material defects or performance issues
