SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in the assembly, operation, maintenance and modification of industrial, chemical or metallurgical plant equipment.
  • Operational experience working with minerals, chemicals, preferably in the context of chemical or refinery processes.
  • Mechanical trade, metallurgical or chemical technician qualification or equivalent hands-on experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Good communication and team-work skills
  • Skills in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, Outlook, Access.
  • Experience in data base operating systems for use in sample and equipment storage and recording.
