Responsibilities:
Canyon Ranch is looking for a Part-Time Metaphysical Practitioner.
This person will provide Metaphysical and Healing Energy consultations to guests while maintaining a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
He or she will:
From the Metaphysical aspect having experience with Astrology, Tarot & Clairvoyant: Demonstrating sincere interest with guest and solid knowledge of each modality, chart and interpret tarot cards or astrological information, interpret and share clairvoyant and intuitive gifts.
Perform weekly guest lectures on topics related to Metaphysical.
Develop and implement guest education, private consultations, workshops and lectures within Canyon Ranch guidelines.
Attend departmental meetings and training sessions. Quarterly participation in cross departmental information exchange trainings to promote the Metaphysical Department and its services. Develop and provide information for publication in cooperation with Public Relations. Participate in program development as it relates to the department.
Proficiency in Numerology, Feng Shui &/or Handwriting Analysis a plus.
Our Healing Energy Practioners use their knowledge, skills and experience to provide effective healing energy sessions to guests following established protocols. You will be incorporating guest feedback into healing energy service delivery. You will also create new service proposals following established process, document new protocols, and create guest handouts. Part of your role will be to offer training/education about our services to program advising team members and other colleagues.
Using your knowledge and experience, you will perform weekly guest lectures and/or workshops on topics related to healing energy and develop/conduct workshops as appropriate, including the creation of handouts/presentation materials.
Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Demonstrates solid knowledge of types of astrology with a foundation in at least one tradition.
• Prefer multiple tradition training in astrology. (Example: Horary and Hellenistic or Forensic and Archetypal).
• Ability to interpret Astrology chart, Tarot cards and Intuitive results rapidly.
• Confident, caring and appropriate delivery of information.
• Works with manager regarding scheduling. Weekend and evening availability; flexibility to cover colleague’s time off as needed.
