About the Role Love working outdoors and being part of your local community? We’re on the lookout for a Meter Reader to join our FNQ Tully team! In this role, you’ll enjoy flexible outdoor work—walking and driving through your allocated neighbourhoods while recording utility meter readings. Hours: 7am–3pm or 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday Location: Tully No experience? No worries—we’ll provide full training to set you up for success. All you need is a positive attitude, a good level of fitness as you’ll be out and about — walking, driving, and exploring your allocated neighbourhood — reading and recording electricity meters. Perfect for anyone who enjoys staying active, being outdoors, and having afternoons free to enjoy life! What you’ll need Current valid driver’s licence White Card or willingness to obtain one (we can guide you) Ready to learn and work on your own Comfortable with walking, bending, squatting – rain or shine Able to travel up to 45 minutes one-way on a case-by-case basis, depending on the routes due for reading Positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a solid work ethic Live in and around Tully or the surrounding areas. (but we’re happy to chat if you’re the right candidate from a bit further out!) Local knowledge of the area is a bonus – streets, shortcuts, and neighbourhoods will make your day easier Key Responsibilities Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner Uphold the Service Stream safety standards and publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional manner Understand and ensure targets are met Ability to work independently but also work with other members of the team to achieve KPIs. Regularly communicate with office support team and your Supervisor on a daily basis.
